Flagstaff is a small university and tourist town on the edge of the Colorado Plateau. Unlike the lower elevations in Arizona, we have snowy winters, crisp falls, and moderate and somewhat rainy summers. We also have virtually year-round sunshine, which makes being outside in all seasons an enjoyable experience. Flagstaff sits at an elevation of nearly 8,000 feet, and is the gateway city to the Grand Canyon National Park.
